AFP Organizational Memberships

Executive Circle – $5,000
AFP’s Business Memberships will afford recognition to for-profit member companies that subscribe to the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards in their work within the fundraising profession.
The Executive Circle Business Membership allows your company to designate two employees to receive full benefits as Associate members* of the Association.
Other benefits include:
  • License permitting use of the AFP Business Logo on your company website, stationery and marketing materials
  • Recognition on AFP website (afpglobal.org) 
  • Annual listing of company and logo in AFP’s Advancing Philanthropy magazine.
  • Two (2) Associate Memberships* for designated company representatives. The Associate Memberships may be transferred to other individuals should these members leave the company’s employ. Business Members may purchase up to 18 additional transferable Associate Memberships at the regular membership rate.
  • Listing in Member Directory (corporate headquarters + Associate Members)
  • Eligibility for Associate Members to serve on AFP committees/task forces
  • One corporate subscription to Advancing Philanthropy for corporate headquarters
  • If exhibiting at AFP ICON (AFP’s international conference):
    • Both identification designating Business Member and Executive Circle status
    • Recognition in the event app and on the conference website
    • $200 discount on every level of exhibit booth space
    • Advance priority booth selection 
Endorser – $1,500
AFP’s Business Memberships will afford recognition to for-profit member companies that subscribe to the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards in their work within the fundraising profession.
The Endorser Business Membership allows your company to designate one (1) employee to receive full benefits as an Associate member* of the Association. The Associate Membership may be transferred to another individual should the member leave the company’s employ.
Other benefits include:
  • Recognition on afpglobal.org
  • Privilege to use specific language provided by AFP on your company website, stationery and marketing materials to indicate support of the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards
  • If exhibiting at AFP ICON (AFP’s international conference):
    • Booth identification designating Business Member Endorser status
    • $200 discount on every level of exhibit booth space

AFP Nonprofit Organizational Membership - Large

Starting at $1,425 for eight members
The larger your nonprofit organization, the greater the challenges you face. You rely on your fundraising and development team to produce the funds that make your organization run. Give them the tools they need to succeed with an AFP Membership for Large Nonprofits. 
From sharing best practices to upholding the highest ethical standards, AFP membership helps ensure your fundraisers can reach their goals … so you can fulfill your mission. 
This membership is open to individually incorporated entities who wish to have multiple members in the Association. Please note:
  • The organization will designate a minimum of five (5) employees to receive Professional Member* benefits. The memberships may be transferred to another individual if the original member leaves your organization. In the event of a change of employment of the designated members, written or email notification to AFP Global is required.
  • All memberships will be adjusted to the same membership year.
  • Payment must come from a single source.

  • Full member access to afpglobal.org — including the AFP Member Directory and AFP Connect online discussion platform
  • Advancing Philanthropy magazine
  • AFP Daily email newsletter

The designated employee members must subscribe to the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards and its bylaws and the AFP Code of Conduct and promote the Donor Bill of Rights.
Nonprofit Organizational members in good standing may vote, serve on chapter or Association committees and task forces and hold Association or chapter office.
All fees and dues are payable on an anniversary year basis. This membership includes two fees: the association fee and a local chapter dues fee.
If you are joining this category for the first time, please contact Membership Services at (800) 666-3863 in order to determine proration for existing AFP members.
Fees: Starting at $1,425 USD for five members ($285 USD which includes $55 USD chapter dues per member). Additional memberships at $285 USD each.

AFP Nonprofit Organizational Membership - Small

$125 plus $60 chapter dues
 This membership is open to nonprofit organizations who can answer yes to all the following criteria:
  • Must be a nonprofit organization – individuals, consultants and for-profit entities may apply for a different category;
  • An operating budget of less than $2,000,000 USD;
  • A fundraising department with less than two (2) Full time equivalent (FTE) staff;
  • Individually incorporated or otherwise organized as a separate entity in the laws of the specific country; and
  • Not affiliated with a larger institution supporting their operations.

The organization will designate one fundraising professional to receive Professional Member* benefits. The membership is retained by the organization and may be transferred to another individual if the original designated employee leaves the organization. In the event of a change of employment of the designated member, written or email notification to AFP Global is required.
