AFP Diversity Art Showcase

The Diversity Art Showcase spotlights youth art, a local professional artist, and the artwork of AFP members. The Showcase strives to portray the uniqueness, value, and diversity of people through art, photos, and poetry. We know there is a lot of talent among our members, so we’re calling all AFP member artists, poets, and photographers to participate. Members do not have to attend the conference to participate.

Reflection on an AFP GVSU Collegiate Chapter Panel Discussion

AFP GVSU Collegiate Chapter hosted a panel discussion on November 8, 2017 with local nonprofit professionals. Participating in the panel was: Janice Fonger, Steve Ozinga, Holly Johnson, and Mary Lehman- Panek. These professionals provided insight to various questions that the attendees of the panel discussion had regarding entering into the nonprofit field. The questions asked were: career path, benefits of AFP, possible hurdles, and advice entering into a nonprofit.

Diverse Communities Scholarship Program

The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy is pleased to once again offer the Diverse Communities Scholarship program for members of diverse communities to attend the AFP International Fundraising Conference in New Orleans, LA, April 15-17, 2018. The application process will open September 1 – October 31, 2017.
