About the Position
Summary
MissionInvest was established in January 2019 and operates in both the Netherlands and the USA. Essentially, it is a matchmaking organization that connects donors directly to projects most aligned with their mission. Since 2023, MissionInvest USA has been building its network with faith-based donors and impact investors, primarily in Michigan, Texas, New Jersey, and Virginia. We focus on donors from corporations, private foundations, high-net-worth individuals, and churches. So far, the President has been the sole fundraiser for various projects in Global Missions and Development. Having established a solid foundation for MissionInvest USA over the past two years, we now aim to further expand our fundraising efforts to ultimately serve millions of underprivileged people around the world. Therefore, we would like to involve several Local Ambassadors in the different states where we aim to broaden and deepen MissionInvest’s network with donors and impact investors.
Working Conditions
– Local Ambassadors should manage their own work, time, and priorities.
– The job can easily be done from home.
– We estimate that this role will take about 2-4 hours a week, involving making some phone calls, sending a few emails, and possibly meeting with potential donors for MissionInvest.
Job Duties
– A lot of freedom to manage the job according to your own ideas and preferences.
– Use the company branding in communications with potential donors and impact investors.
– Provide frequent progress reports (just headlines).
Requirements
– Could be either a man or woman (35+ yrs)
– Christian believer
– Reformed, but interdenominational thinking
– Heart for the Kingdom; Global Missions
– International orientation (Africa, Asia, Central-America)
– Trustworthy person
– Preferably a business network
– A networker with the talent to open doors and connect with potential donors based on THEIR mission!
– Dealmaker focusing on developing lasting partnerships
– Someone being able to make a few introductions to potential donors/investors prior to frequent visits of the President of MI USA
