Negotiation BootCamp – AFP Workshop

Women are still paid and promoted at lower rates than men, even though they negotiate just as often. This lunch series will help you close the salary gap by giving you tools to negotiate better. Participants will explore four elements of successful negotiation – how it pays to negotiate, making the first offer, using positive emotions, and thinking communally.
The Negotiation Boot Camp has been developed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as a chapter resource to increase inclusion, diversity, equity, and access (I.D.E.A.) within the AFP-West Michigan Chapter.
Participants will leave with practical strategies to negotiate compensation and improve equity in compensation.
Beth Kelly, HR Collaborative will facilitate the exercise and share her expertise.
