How will recent tax law changes impact nonprofit giving?

October 12 @ 9:15 am - 11:45 am

Depending on what you read and whom you talk to, the predicted impact of tax law change on charitable giving varies widely. While it seems likely that fewer Americans will give (continuing a trend started well before these changes), the overall picture may not be as dismal as some believe. In fact, some of the lesser known changes appear to encourage increased philanthropy. Please join us as John Greenhoe, CFRE, takes a look at tax reform and what it may mean to nonprofits now and in the future. John will provide recommendations to help charities reduce their vulnerability to giving declines and also outline strategies that can help nonprofits capitalize on newly created areas of potential.

Presenter: John Greenhoe, CFRE, Senior Director of Major Gifts at Western Michigan University
