Creating a Meaningful Annual Development Plan

The starting point of any meaningful annual development plan is clear goals. We’ll talk through a variety of goals to consider, how to narrow it down, and then how to create a plan that will help you get there. Creating and updating an annual plan is also an important tool in engaging organizational staff and the board with fundraising. Attendees will leave this workshop with clear next steps on how to create and implement their own customized plan.

Laura Kruisenga has been with Kennari Consulting since 2010. In her current role as President, CEO and owner of Kennari, Laura oversees Kennari’s business operations and departments, ensuring the company’s growth is well-aligned with its mission and values. She also works with clients to build their annual fundraising programs with a particular focus on events, communications, and staffing. Laura’s practical coaching style and results-oriented strategies help her clients set realistic goals and achieve measurable results. Laura graduated from Adrian College with a degree in business administration and has over 20 years of fund development experience.
