Formulate and recommend fundraising and donor strategies, goals and plans that support the goals of the organization

Coordinate the participation of top-level management and board members and key staff when appropriate

Be responsible for understanding the depth and breadth of Samaritas’ programs, impact and outcomes and translate these to compelling messaging for major donor audiences

Perform ongoing needs analysis to attain objectives. Analyze planned giving trends, identify areas of opportunity and implement creative solutions

Identify, cultivate and solicit current donors and gifts at increasingly generous levels of support

Plan and implement educational seminars for major gift prospects and donors

Partner with the Marketing department to promote the organization’s branding and to create solicitation marketing tools

Create status and planning reports, aligning with team members to achieve goals

Develop and maintain a collaborative and effective relationship with external and internal stakeholders
